Very interesting books with insight into the 11th century history send culture of Persia and Jews living in Persia at that time

Engaging novel about an orphaned young man and his determination to become s physician at the beginning of the 11th C.

I have started several books and became busy or disinterested, or just didn't bother to list them. oh well!

I like this book. Seems to be covering a lot of the 18th dynasty, from an interesting viewpoint. However I have a few minor gripes. The narrator is Ankhesenpaaten. Admittedly she may be "wise beyond her years", but if I read it correctly, so far she seems to be between eight and twelve.

intriguing!

this first Pharaoh appears to to be Narmer. the son of the Scorpion King.

I haven't read anything about this time period before - very intriguing!

Put this on the back burner for awhile!

I just finished KIYA: Mother of a King (Kiya Trilogy Book 2) and gave it 4 stars. Interesting plot twists

Finally at p.90 something that looks like a plot...
