Tigana: It's a big read and beautifully written. Genuinely moving in parts. It has *slightly* questionable representation, but it passes because it's part of the world rather than an explicit authorial view...maybe. Obviously, I'm going to get twitchy when gay men are likened to peadophiles, but there you go.

I'm reading this in parts among other reads.

Song of Sycamore is my next read. I've heard great things!
