Thematically this is a solid 4-4.5. But the actual plot and dialog pulled it down to a 3.5. Im very picky about my second chance romances. The stakes around this were too high to be approached the way they did. The themes were great but some of the dialog exploring the themes felt like an afterschool special. People just don't talk like that

Points for exploring hard themes of loss, co-parenting, therapy, etc.

4.5 stars. I devoured this. I liked the dynamic and conflict / resolutions in this one a lot.

3.5. Funny and interesting. I think I appreciate it most as a tool for teen boys to see themselves and their actions through Greg's lens

3.75 I really love the first half of the book but started to get bogged down at the end.

Very fun premise. I think clementine must have face blindness but I'll let it slide for the plot.
