If you have an interest in the British, the social, the rich, & the 1940s WW II era, read this. This is the story of the last Debutantes before the war started in England. Many of them were related to the aristocracy & some married into it. They were all presented at court to King George VI & Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Personal interviews with the Debs 60 years later. So engrossing!

One of my favorite films is Garbo's Camille. This is the person her character was based on.

I read this book randomly. It's that kind of book. If I find myself, feeling down, I read a couple of pages.

I just purchased "American Women (P.S.) by Gail Collins on my Kindle. When I have finished it, I will review it. I have created a page for the book, just too early.
