Wow...I am ashamed of how little I actually knew about Malcolm X as in the person behind the fascinating persona...it truly amazed me to realize that Malcolm went through many changes and personal growth before becoming who the world would know as MALCOLM X. This may seem silly, but I think people tend to view revolutionaries as though they'd been the people they became from the beginning...or at least I did.

Okay...goodreads people! I don't usually do the reaching out community thing...but I lost my Mom in an accident today...we did not have the best relationship...it was improving. Does anyone have any book recs I might read in honor of her? Perhaps something focusing on the mother/daughter relationship? Maybe a strained relationship that improves...

This book is Simply Amazing... And will undoubtedly be one of my favorites. A must-read for anybody interested in theology. With that said, I have mixed feelings as to how this book should be read...whether in chunks or one chapter at a time. It was originally written as a set of articles so the chapters aren't very long, but they do have a lot of depth...I feel I could restart this book and see fresh insights.
