Krishna Dinamani is on page 51 of 239 of The Indian Rennaissance: India's Rise after a Thousand Years of Decline
Chapter 2 talked mostly on pre 1991 from 1947. It's not elaborate but I think it is setting context for coming chapters

Author theorize that gazni and ghori were able to conquer India because rajput or other warriors didn't had national consciousness. But he doesn't give any literally evidence or proof, why should we believe this theory without any evidence?? Turkish army had upper hand in war because of jihad - crusade wars, they had latest war equipments, technology and techniques (at that age) which Indian kingdoms didn't had.

"Death of Harsha Vardhan to islamic invasion is styled as Rajput civilization"!!! Where did other kingdoms like Rastrakuta, Gurjar, Pratihar, Pala, Paramara, Kalyan chalukya,...

Author talk about Hindu society, religious beliefs & practices but nothing about western invaders

Don't understand why author bring contrasting between hindu tridev with christian trinity in middle of mediaeval history.

Looks like author loves Mughal and Delhi sultanate so much that he have written 30% of 1st chapter on Mughal and another 50% on Delhi sultanate. As Sanjeev Sanyal rightly say historians talk too much Delhi centric history.
