I've waited a LONG time to pick up Robin Hobb again. She was what started it all for me as a fantasy author all those years ago with Liveship Traders. The familiarity of the writing in these pages is special to me.

I'm on page 150 of 372 of The Chosen: Interesting story, which is not really all original, but interesting with some nice ideas. This is a book which contains so many errors that grind my reading to a halt... that it is making me reluctant to continue. Why do some authors not spend the time to have proper proofreading and editing done with skilled readers/editors? Indie or not, quality should come first.

Wow! Now this is quality writing and a heck of a story. I am determined to read this before I watch the film and I am so glad I chose to do so. Suzanne's writing is inspiring me to write better stories. Loving this so far.
