Listening to the audiobook, narrated by Amy Landon. Well written and I think Landon does a really good job.

I like the slow, deliberate pace; it shows off the writing well. I think some might find the writing style a bit odd and detached at places and not like it for that reason, but personally I really enjoy it. Something about the descriptive presentation just really works for me.

As is usual with T. Kingfisher, the flow and pace is really nice, and while fairytale like fantasy is not my usual fare, the title was too good for me to pass it up!

I enjoy the narrator and the writing both. I think the author does a good job of separating out the different characters and describing how they each experience the preparations going into sending a group of experienced astronauts on a first mission to Mars.

Straight into the artery of nostalgia.
When I found and read the first of these books in my grandparents' house as a kid, that's when the dream of becoming a veterinarian was truly born.

DNF'ing this one. It feels pretty aged already.

Promising! I really enjoy Sabaa Tahir's writing style - it is very sober most of the time, so when drama really tightens and she let's more loose, it is really effective.

I like it, and am listening to the audiobook. Very well narrated. It's quite long, so I have to keep renewing my loan and get in queue, or I would be further along. I will definitely continue with the next one after this.

Waaay too much romance for my taste, but I'll finish it. It is well written with good characters.

I'm having just as much fun with this one as any other Loe book I've read. I lose the prose and the characters are always so vivid to me.
