Although it's picking up pace and it's slightly intriguing, i won't enjoy it because of the writing.

I really wanted to like this, I loved the setting, the concept etc. but I'm going to stop reading here.

so far, I don't like the writing style. he's looking at her with "hunger" and the story has hardly begun. let me mention, "he looks up through a fan of ink dark lashes, his eyes glowing..."

im officially DNFing, i don't enjoy reading extreme analogies and the characters need more depth. I felt for Tommy 😕 I feel like this story had more potential 😞

Side Note: This cover is absolutely gorgeous and the first line had me hooked 😆

Wait a second 🫷🏻 You're telling me that Henry finally has a convo with Lily and then the chapter ends w/o the dialogue?! 😩 The new chapter skips ahead?!

I absolutely love reading her story; she is so sweet, down to earth, and full of wisdom. I love that she includes recipes, great health tips and has truly inspired me to tackle things I didn't think I'd be capable of on my own.

It's been really difficult for me to read this in Old English. The story started off strong for me but as it progressed I lost interest in the plot. I didn't like that Arthur, a noble smart man, would go back to fighting the Sable Knight after his injury 🥴 I honestly think that getting the Excalibur sword should have been obtained in a different matter entirely. Sadly I won't be finishing this 😔
