I DNF’d this book after the first chapter. There were two instances of fat shaming on the first page alone, and it continued several more times through these ten pages. Worse, it was stuck behind the guise of supposedly being okay because the character in question is also unkind. I get that the narrator is having a hard time in the community but this was uncalled for.
