the grovel is almost as satisfying as I wished it to be. Still think that Malachi is the mmc we got, NOT the one Isla derves, but obviously oh well. No one’s perfect I guess

I’m all for the drama, but c’mon. Even if what Malachi thinks he knows was true, that’s no reason enough to treat his own wife like a piece of garbage.

I’m relaly liking the fmc. She’s strong, and a cohesive and confident feminist, without it making her a puppet of sorts. I’m not sure about him yet, tho.

it’s getting worse and worse with each passing page. What a childish drama

Incredibly slow and boring as heck up until 60% of the entire book. All the action actually takes place toward the end.
