Shirin A. is starting The Politics of Trauma: Somatics, Healing, and Social Justice
I (not so) jokingly refer to this book as the Bible (of somatics), and I should say it has never left my desk since I bought.
I read it over months as my training —with Staci!!!— progressed and it has worked like a compass for me.
Now attempting to read it again in one go ✨

Hello book friends :) Join me for my next expressive writing workshop on December 1 to explore darkness.

We will tap into the transformative power of writing to reveal the spacious and emergent possibilities of the unknown and restore our inner strength and wholeness.

An “Introduction” more readable and enjoyable than that Romantic Comedy everyone’s raving about.

I'm dreading the fact that this book is almost over. I'll miss taking a peek inside Sontag's brain. Thankfully I still have the first volume to read.

I thought the book would be nicer than the film (which was ok), but it's actually not?

To dnf, or not to dnf, that is the question. I am all for past-obsessed, miserable protagonists, but Ivy's inner monologue is just terribly boring at this point.

Shirin A. is on page 25 of 168 of La casa vivente.
