Given the book titles, I wish "the reds" were anti-terraformers rather than regular communists

Not ideal to start in the middle of a series, but I've done it before and since each era seemed pretty self-contained I decided to risk it.

Oops, may have slept through something between "annoying bird noises in the morning" and everything going to hell... but can't be bothered to go back.

... I could swear the concept of guerrilla warfare was mentioned once or twice in the previous books, why is Rin so incredibly confused by this?

Completing the series just for the sake of it - and I know this is the one people hate but so far I'm just glad Rin has stopped denying that she's a genocidal maniac.

I quite enjoyed the retelling of the life of the old monk and life in the monastery. Alas, my loan is expiring today and I can't renew it due to another reservation, so tbc!

I knew one thing about this book going in, and the bastard is still alive... but Alyosha is precious!

I'm... just not enjoying this series.

I want the movie to win all the awards, but not adapted screenplay... so far, it appears that they shot the movie straight from the book, zingers included, no screenplay necessary!
