This book throws you right in. Im a bit confused at 10% about how the world is set up. Im hoping the world becomes clearer as i continue

Insta lust for sure. I can already tell this is gonna be no plot just smut.

There are a lot of timeline mistakes that could have used an editor. Little things like saying they will meet tomorrow at noon but then the next chapter having them meet in the morning. Its not the end of the world but it has happened so many times it is noticeable.

I don't love that we are being told the story by an older Eska. I think it removes some of the tension.

I'm enjoying this so far, but I hate when books set in fantasy worlds use words like "cringey" it takes me out of the story.
