This second book is giving off strong ACOMAF vibes! It's actually quite distracting. I'm trying to dump ACOMAF from my brain a moment, so I'll stop comparing the two, and just read and enjoy this book. That's proving difficult to do though, when each character, story line, and names are so similar.

I'm in love!

I've only made it to page 24 and I've already got butterflies in my stomach. I feel like this will be on my favorites shelf. I already adore the characters, the content, and wish I could jump in and join them.

I've only read 34 pages and I'm already in love. The writing transports me. Beautiful language, amazing imagination, and I already feel attached to Isobel. I appreciate stories that make me desperate to know what happens next. I already know this book will be one of my favorites.

I do not have a desire to finish this one. I feel like it will eventually go somewhere exciting.

Wow! What a read. I feel sad yet relieved all at the same time for these characters who have become more than characters in my mind. This story is told with such real depth, yet shows the funny and ridiculous side of people at times. I am richer for having read it.

I really wanted to love this book, because I am such a Divergent fan, but I just couldn't. I couldn't get past the strange names and all of the invented items. Sometimes I feel like if the author has to describe every little detail and item just to get me to see it, then it's been stretched a bit too far. I hate that I couldn't get into this. I don't know. Maybe my imagination is extremely lacking right now.

Loved! Loved! Loved it!!! I saw that this book series was recommended by Sarah J Maas. As soon as I saw that I HAD to read it. I was not disappointed. This is now one of my favorites!

This one is not for me. It's written from a perverted teenage boy perspective and I can't seem to relate. I really wanted to like this one.

I loved the idea of this story.
As I was reading, I was reminded of a quote by Anton Chekhov..."Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass". I felt as if I were being told what to think and feel throughout this story. I think the author thought we wouldn't understand so she spelled everything out for us. I like when I can read a book and feel as if I'm in the story, a part of it.

I have to start by saying that SEP is my favorite author. I have and love everything she's written. This one, however, was hard to get into. I think it had something to do with being unable to relate to the ventriloquist thing. That being said...now that I've finished reading the book entirely, I loved it! I love the characters, the island, and the story. I blame myself for the original misconnection.

Out With A Fang was very sexy.

I couldn't finish the first story, Shades of Gray. Sorry, not my cup of tea.

So, I moved on to Undead Sublet (the story that was originally recommended to me). I loved it and will definitely be looking for more Molly Harper books in the future. She had me laughing and enjoying the characters. Loved the story and felt like I was visiting Half-Moon Hollow.

Amazing! To say how I expected this to end would be a spoiler, although it didn't end the way I expected. I feel this was definitely open for future books and wold eagerly read anything Rysa Walker has to write. Loved this series!!!

Oh my gosh!!! It just keeps getting more intense and more exciting! I want to know who she is, who she will be, and ... (spoiler).... I will be immediately picking up the next book. I have to know what happens next!

I WANT THE NEXT BOOK! I literally just promised my husband that I wouldn't buy any more books until I read the ones I have, but I HAVE to know what happens next! I was hooked from the beginning. I loved the flow of the words, the thoughts, the adventure. I could feel the adrenaline as I read, heart fluttering, turn the page, something might happen and you might miss it. You have to know what happens.

I absolutely loved Lady Midnight. At first, I really wasn't sure, because I wanted another Jace and Clary story. As I got into Julian and Emma's lives though, I fell in love with them too. I can't wait to read the next book, because clearly there will be one. Wow, what an ending!

I'm loving Lady Midnight so far. I love Emma and Julian's story. I'm hoping for a certain ending.... We'll see.

LOVED this book!!!! I did not want to work, or sleep, or eat while reading this book. I'd be in the middle of an amazing chapter and realize I was literally shaking with adrenaline.
