Gonna finish this series this year! I'm so excited for this.

I literally just read for 2 hrs straight…I’m cooking right now. Less than 100 pages to go!!

Made it to part 2, 50% done. Chaol is still insufferable but my girls are shining.

Dang…I really like a good healing journey…Yrene is my new fav, Chaol still needs to step it up

I’m glad I waited until now to read this, as I emotionally matured, I am enjoying this more than I thought. Would have been a different outcome if I read it 9 years ago.

You know…I’m not struggling with this as much as I thought I would..the Yrene and the royal family are pretty interesting

Finally met (re-met) Yrene and I feel like she’s important and her name is tickling something in my brain. She and Chaol might end up together not him and Nesryn so maybe more interesting than I thought especially being a healing journey book. Very interesting

Made it to part 2. This is insane. Like what is happening. Also love all the references to Catching Fire.

I’m in my hunger games girly era. I’m already blown away.

As someone who avoided reading this book for five years, I actually really like this book. I also found out that Snow’s first name is based on Shakespeare’s Coriolanus Play. I looked it up and I am intrigued because there is a lot of parallels.

Part 2 here we come

Having seen the movie first, I am able to recall a picture in my mind. But it’s also helping me piece together things. I always think that the hunger games movies are done so well.

One chapter in, I’m a psychoanalyzing this a lot. I am writing notes as I read this. I’m worried how long my notes are gonna be, though, this book is long. But at least the paperback seems shorter even though it’s not. But it looks shorter.
