Lied to by the comp titles once again. I see literally nothing Midsommar or Alien (maybe vaguely the sexual abuse allegory) in this, feels like it's gonna be strongly politically charged trauma porn. I'm out.

DNFing very early on, nothing really wrong, just didn't speak to me at all

I'll be DNFing this one too. It very much feels like a debut and it's just not hooking me at all.

Gonna DNF this, it didn't really grip me, I find the conflict childish and the writing sub-par.

Sadly another 50 page DNF, I absolutely can't handle the writing in this. It feels very amateurish and juvenile. I feel like I'm following 2 thirteen-year-olds arguing on the internet.

I made it 50 pages in and I'll be DNFing this. I love the different short chapters from the POV of random pets, but I can't stand the main perspective. The humor feels very juvenile and vulgar to a fault. On top of that I am not intrigued by the plot at all.
