I love it. I love that there's more Lucien, but I don't like Nesta. I get it, she's a great, complicated character but I can't stand her. And now she's compared to Amren like... I don't see it. Nesta thinks she deserves better because she's better than everyone else, when in reality she's annoying, spoiled child that got a loving family she doesn't appreciate enough. And yes, I'm not fair, but I just don't like her.

This book hit realllly close to home. Every five minutes I have to stop reading for a second to catch a break bc wow, it shows exactly how I feel and how I think. Not always, but often enough to make me feel uneasy.
At least until Lotte got her clown horn bc now I mostly am second-hand embarrassed. I want to laugh and I'm in public!
I also need to read first two books in the series bc I really love Amber and Evie.
