Oh, how I wish that Ben Elton had another way of writing a disagreeable female character than fatshaming Professor McCluskey one every single half-chance!

"The flight took almost four hours, during which McCluskey ate everything that was offered and as ever drank considerably. then she managed to get herself stuck in the tiny loo" - WHAT??! She is a PROFESSOR, yet only her BMI is needed as characteristica.

I'm confused. The grandma’ was born in the 1890s, and died before she was 90, so it takes place sometime in the 80s. That also fist with a recession and the fact that her uncle was born in the middle of the great depression. However, she said, “these days people read more ebooks than physical books”. You could argue that is doesn’t really matter, but there isn’t much else to capture you while reading….

Ved ikke om jeg nogensinde bliver færdig med den her. Jeg er ikke sikker på hvem den er skrevet til, men den virker overfladisk og overdrevet detaljeret på samme tid. Og for at være ærlig, så lykkedes det ikke forfatteren at formidle til hverken historienørden eller fritidslæsteren.

More than half way through, and still waiting for something to happen. If it wasn’t an audiobook I had given up long ago, because I need to play computer while listening in order for me not to feel that I’m wasting my time… I have to get better at stopping books I don’t like, the drain my energy, yet I feel I have to finish them…

"History doesn't repeat itself" what? That's all it does! Literally!

Just on behalf of Scandinavians, we don't all have water planes! I have never been on a water plane or seen one that was not solely for tourists, and since Norway, Sweden and Finland is mostly mountains, I have no idea what you would do with a water plane....

Fed, butted, omfangsrige, korpulent hvad ord har man ellers brug for for at skabe en personlighed! Og det kan da ikke komme bag på nogen at en fed kvinde, der ordner vasketøjet "med en sukkerfri cola indenfor rækkevidde" er en manipulerende kæling!

Ellers en af de bedste krimi-historier i serien, men sådan noget fordomsfuldt, ækelt snak burde slet ikke optræde i en populær-krimi!

Just because this is a Doctor Who book, there is no excuse for clumsy timelines! What is up with jumping forward and backwards – and sideways! First we are told the new system will take over in 2:47 hours, then it’s the next morning, and there is still 6:40 minutes to go! And then it’s the middle of the night again – but only for one paragraph, and then it is back to – when?

Nothing surpasses the mixture of Rowling and Fry!

After a great trip to the movies, I felt it was time to get into some care of magical creatures :)

I like the story so far, but I'm hearing it over audible, and the narrator is horrible! Almost all his voices are the same, and his deliverance destroys many of the jokes!

I love this book! Why is this book talked about more?! This is Jane Austen at her best!

Stop repeating yourself in slightly different terms! Repartitions is exasperating, when reading! Finding, what you just read, repeated in almost the same way can be quite tiresome for the reader!

I'm not so sure about this book, so far it repeats itself so often that a read page by page is annoying. Besides errors like having Denmark (my own country) shown as a part of the German empire on a map really makes me question the level of research behind it!

Not so sure I like this book...
