Much better than I thought it would be. I had stayed away from Borg for a long time. I thought he would be too radical for my tastes with the Jesus Seminar and all.

Reading alternating chapters between him and Wright is kind of like being at a bible study with friends who have different perspectives.

The 3rd NT Wright book. I'm listening to a revised series of lectures he gave on evil. Really difficult to under stand. I'm going to go back and re-listen to it.

I'm really reading this one - there is no audio version. This is really hard academic theology but I am determined to take it a page at a time.

A change of pace to listen to while running. So far I have been surprised and pleased. It is a really good post-apocalyptic story told in an intriguing style. Reading it at the start of flu season is a little unnerving.

This is a great read so far. Lots of action and lots of details about Saul's life. Fiction built on a lot of historic supposition. I'm listening to this book while I run. Thanks Carl god the recommendation.

I'm listening to it on my evening walks. It is a re-telling of the gospel story enhanced with detail about the area and culture. The narrator has a strong British accent that is uncomfortable at first but I've gotten used to it.

Rock solid adventure so far. No boring parts. Lots of new characters keep entering and leaving. Lots of call backs to the first book but none critical to the end. Audible says I have four hours left to complete. It's getting to that exciting part that makes me run an extra mile or twice in one day.

I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to read a "different" Christian book. It's not a devotional but you can use it like one. It's not story but it reads like one. It's not an advice book but it has lots of good advice. Worth the time.

Right down to the last chapter this book has been great. A police procedural with lots of action and plot twists. I love Decker as a new series star.
