why did i pay $5 for a book that has clearly never seen an editor?? please someone go in and format this better because right now it is driving me insane

2 inconsistencies so far. The first, she’s apparently not supposed to have even kissed anyone and her thoughts echo that she hasn’t, but when we meet Cassian, they’ve had “stolen kisses”.
Second, Cassian says there was a decree to refuse further omega admissions and expel any omegas currently attending, but then it’s treated as though it’s optional to continue or not an education there?

I'm so confused. This book seems to be constantly jumping from one thing to another with no definitive plot. I'm only pushing through at this point because the next book is my favorite character in the series!

So on page 34 the author says ""even if department policy didn't prohibit partners from getting romantically involved..." But by chapter 8 (aka: the current page I'm on), they can't hook up because the department forbids it??? And that's literally the only reason?? I'm a little confused.
