i don’t like any character and i’m trying to figure out if their interior monologues are prejudiced or if the author is inserting her own? the most intriguing part so far is diana’s pregnancy

so repetitive and written like a soap opera

i stream of consciousness is hard for me to read but i listen to the audiobook for those chapters. un/fortunately these parts are the most interesting and i find imelda to be the most compelling character by far

happy i’m reading this after learning a lot about the troubles
