Really enjoying this one. Nearly half done. Easy writing style does nothing to undermine the sense of dread throughout.

Wow. What exactly have I stumbled upon? Deliciously dark tales, each one creepier than the last.

With the holidays, it's been slow going. First part of the book is like Twilight Zone meets Tom Brown's Schooldays. That's not a criticism. Been so long since I first read this book, it all seems news to me again.

Haven't read this book is so very many years. It was one of my first favorite horror novels. Just want to see if it still holds up after all these years.

Utterly fascinating, extremely informative and very accessible. Certainly, a very important book.
