When does this get good? SO TEDIOUS!

I could read this in one sitting if i had time

Harsh and gruesome as this book may be, I'm into it enough to care how it ends.

So far, GREAT book. Really enjoying it. Hard to put down.

This book is WEIRD and gory and nothing like The Secret History (which I was wrong in thinking inspired this book based on the name and academia setting). If you don't like body horror, this is not for you. Don't know if I'll keep reading. Not what I expected.
