After reading passage after passage of inhuman activities, one feels ashamed to be born in the same species. There’s no punishment invented, that suits these animals who had done this.

If this is all true, then we got all the proof needed to not believe in God.

So if you have Power you can commit any inhumane sin and still get award and promotion from your gvnmt. Shame on everyone involved. Shame on humanity.

It’s gonna get bad from here. And I’m not ready to go through this

Finished Caligula. Shed few tears. Not for the obvious reasons.

This is a book written in blood. I don’t know why the hell I picked up this book. What was I thinking. What was I expecting to achieve by reading this. We all know what humans are capable of and we have seen our achievements in Auschwitz and the slave trades of Native Indian in America. This is not new. Why am I reading this. To fill my heart with all this pain and hopelessness. This is a big mistake

I would have completed a book twice this size and yet, this little nuke of a book makes me work hard before revealing its inner and deeper meaning. The rewards are greater and worthy of the labour. The long monologues are really gonna keep me awake. Completed 44% percent of it. I feel I have aged a bit, since I begun this. Both physically and emotionally. I’ll come back here once I complete.
