I finally bit the bullet and picked up this 700-page giant book, knowing it's a 50-50 risk, all because I was lured in by the idea of reading something that feels like Everything is Romantic (Alina Kay's version).

So, WHY am I still reading when batshit things are happening and nOT being adressed? And some gory murders might be attributed to the love interest? I think?
The answer is: I'm hooked, I fear.

“Your are are the same” [..] “the same blue.”
Is this about that one character haunting the narrative for like +100 years? Bc this kinda felt ouchy

Will give this one more short story & decide, bc I'm sure I enjoyed the first one bc of the show. However, The second one? /spoilers(ish) ahead/ This Beast supposedly went through a journey of growth, yet not once had expressed regret for r-wording :) kinda defeats the whole point of isolated self reflection :) it's incredibly male-centric that she's not even *thought of*, even worse; seen as '"a stroke of bad luck"
