Rescued by fire god. Beauty & beast essentially. He finds out she originally planned to kill him on behalf of rebel elves, doesn’t give her chance to explain. She’s banished back to mortal world, her rebels know she’s switched sides and she runs. Goes to see where rebels are trying to break into god realm, ends up in god realm and it’s destroyed.
