Been a bit slow going but as always I love picking up a King novel. I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's like coming home...

I’m still not sure what to make of this. There is so much smut, which is fun, but at the same time it’s trying to be cozy and I enjoy that… but at the same time it’s not doing a whole lot for me??? I won’t DNF it but I’m probably not going to continue reading this…

There are so many smutty scenes in this it’s kind of insane (but I like it).

Kinda waiting for something to happen but it’s definitely a different pace than my previous book. Will keep going and see how this turns out…

These last hundred or so pages have been *wild*. Still waiting for the other shoe to fully and completely drop though (or the twist to happen). The secret second signet thing is cool and something I guess I suspected but literally put it together not long before it was properly revealed. This whole dedicated Dunne thing though… *that’s* nothing important, surely 👀 Right?

Finally, FINALLY the squad can talk some sense into Vilolet. It’s about bloodydamn time the squad found out.

So I just got to the part where Violet and team meet Xaden's mum and I'm like-
This *will not* change my verdict. Xaden needs to be tossed into the sea. No pity will be generated for this man.
