Jack went to the lake and went swimming for a little while. He is being very careful because he knows people are looking for him.

Jack slept in the store, and woke up at 6:00 am. He stole one of the bikes in the store, so now he no longer has to walk at night.

Jack is still at the LL Bean store and he is exploring what is in it.

Jack went to a L.L. Bean store, and took a nap in the dressing room. When he woke up, the store was closing. He is staying the night.

It is now Wednesday and jack still isn't at school. He did not find any new evidence about his mom.

Jack went into the back of somebody's truck because he thought they were going to mass, but it turns out they didn't and now he's lost.

Jack's mom is still missing. He checked his mom's social media in the library, and there was nothing on her page.

Jack's mom is still nowhere to be found. He went to a garden and a lady gave him some vegetables after he helped her with gardening. He was supposed to start school today, as it is the day after Labor Day.

Jack moved away from the campground, and he spent the night in the woods in a sleeping bag. He was not able to carry his tent because of it's weight. Once he woke up, he didn't have any more money, so he collected bottles. For each bottle, he got five cents. He got a dollar worth of cans and got trail mix and a water bottle. He has twenty cents left over.

Jack went to the lake with Aiden and his family. He ran out of food back at his tent, so it was good Aiden's mom had food at the lake. Jacks excuse for his mom not going is that she is sick. When they got back, Aiden's mom said she would bring them soup tonight. "Tell her I'm making dinner tonight. I'll bring over soup." She said on page 43.

Jack went back to the campsite, and his mom still isn't there. There was a ranger there who said "Anything wrong?" on page 19. Jack said no. He also went to a store to pick up food, and now he has nearly no money left.

Jack woke up in the tent on the campsite, and his mom is nowhere to be found. All of their things are gone, except for his tent. He went to a restaurant and the beach, because he does not want his vacation to be ruined by her.

Leo brings Bree to the diner, and let's her go. She went into the diner and ordered food. She has decided that she isn't going to tell anybody about Leo, because she doesn't want to get him in trouble. At the library, she found the story of Leo's murdered sister, which happened 4 years ago from today.

Bree and Leo go into Leo's house to get the pictures. When they go in to take them, his mom is sleeping in the dining room on a chair. She is drunk. Leo and Bree get the pictures, and burn them. "I want to burn them. So nobody else will ever see them either." Leo said on page 104.

Bree wakes Leo up, while he was dreaming about his mother, back to when she was normal. When he wakes up, he's surprised she's still there. "Why didn't you run away, for God's sake!" He says on page 95. He says he will bring her to the diner when it's light out, to let her go.

Leo finally told Bree the full story of how his sister died. After he told her, he fell asleep on her shoulder. " He's just mixed up, not terrible or anything." She thinks to herself on page 87.

Leo and Bree are just talking to each other now. Leo asked Bree who she would give her money to if he died, and she said a charity. Bree is telling Leo that he should stop being so judgmental, because he thinks that people who are given food don't work hard. "Sometimes people need help, for gods sake!" Bree says on page 83.

Leo was driving away with Bree, and was holding the knife to her neck. He decides he's not going to kill her because there would be too much blood, and now he is bringing her out of the car, but she does not know where he is taking her.

Bree is walking on the street by herself, and a guy who she doesn't know (Leo) is mad at her because she is dressed inappropriately. He thinks she should have died and not his sister. He is holding a knife to her throat, and he is driving away as he is holding her neck. It explains this on page 37.

Bree got out of the house, and she is driving to Fenton to the bar. She went to the bar with her boyfriend, Jesse, a while back, and now she's going alone . It explains this on page 24. Leo also got out, and is driving around in circles to get away from his crazy mom.

Leo is trying to get out of the house, but his mom stops him, and she said that its her sisters anniversary for the day she died. She showed him the bloody pictures of her death. She then accuses her own son for her daughters death, but he claims it was her boyfriend. "Why didn't you stop her? You could have stopped her!" she says on page 21.

Bree is going out for the night at a bar, but ofcource her mom was not told that. Leo is also trying to get out of his house, but his mom is giving him a hard time.

Leo's gramma is gone for the week, and he is stuck with his crazy mom, so he is spending a lot of time at work so he wont upset her
