None of the other books made Martine seem like a crazy obsessed mother, not even Deckers book mentioned anything like how she is acting in this one and she is his mom. I get she lost a bunch of sons and a husband years ago, but that doesn't explain why she is only this way with her daughters.... what am I missing?

I haven't even got off page 1 and am already upset!!!! How are all of those people missing?!?!?!? None of them are mated pairs either! What happened between the last book and this one!!!!

I'm only about 50% finished with the book and I already feel like it's an ending. This one had a lot of stuff packed into the first half that it could have been a novella all on its own. Loving it though!

Was she dating an immortal? She keeps repeating lines word for word and that just seems fishy.... like they were planted. Like about her engagement and the stores success...

Did I miss where they solved Victor and Vincents blood issues? They just said Victor slapped a blood bag to his teeth but last I checked he had to feed off the hoof because of a genetic disorder.... I love these books but thats 2 mistakes in only the first 30% of the book...

I thought it was a typo the first time, like once when she was referring to Tomasso she put Thomas, but now it has happened a few times. Mabel has been changed to Hazel... from here on I am going to say her name is Hazel Mabel Allen, and she was going by her middle name but has since changed it to her first name... this is the only thing my brain will accept.

I think this is the first book where we didn't meet or hear about the 2 main characters beforehand... obviously the first book doesn't count

Ok so from what I have read so far Basha thinks Damian is her son, who is seems also calls himself Leonius. He is a No-fanger which is impossible because the child always gets the mothers nanno's and basha is an immortal so either she doesn't know he isn't really her son or she took him in which I don't think is the case. Maybe she was pregnant and her son was switched with him? Idk but we will find out...

I thought Earnie was Leo's son? Not Damian's. And Damian can't be Leo if he is truly Basha's son because she is an immortal not a No-fanger... I'm confused...

I knew i remembered Marcus from Marguerite and Julius' book but I swore i heard Basha's name before too. Now I remember! Ugh why did she save that dummy!

I'm still getting a weird feeling about Bethany, I don't know if I'm reading too much into it but I'm concerned. I know Bethany has diabetes and I'm wondering if she is dosing Caro with insulin to make her sick. Maybe she is secretly with the husband and wants her money, or is pushing her toward an affair so he gets half in the divorce? I know I'm reaching but it feels like somthing is off with her....
