Reading the hardcover; my only physical book this year. Pepsi Max spilt all over it. Going to the ebook.

So far, this is a much better book than books 2 and 3 which were a jumble of ideas that didn't go anywhere in particular.

Good but about 200 pages of travelogue that doesn’t add much to the plot I could do without.

Becoming easier to read now that I'm into the areas of history I have familiarity with.

A long way through and I've still go no idea what the story is.

Have put this down for this afternoon. Too much bad stuff happening to characters I care about by bullies in the story I have no control over.

Interesting story developing.

Nearing the pointy end now.
