I’m reading the Chinese and translated English versions simultaneously. Appalled to find out that the English version has omitted chunks of information (actual paragraphs of content! Not just footnotes) that the Chinese version contains, at least in the preface bits that I’ve just read. So far so good though, we shall see how this goes

Came across this book Waterstones, plonked myself in an armchair and read it for 1.5 hours straight. Thought about getting a library copy but decided I needed to highlight lots of stuff so I bought the book.

1.5/5. Unfortunately I did not like this book. I’ll save my thoughts for book club and edit this for a more comprehensive review
