Reread before book #2!

I need a palate cleanser and it’s about time I finished this series. Years people...literally years on my shelf. Nothing like a quarantine to make me pick up books I normally would feel like I didn’t have time for right now.

Please don’t let me down. 🙏🏻

I’m just not feeling this. This book is totally not for me. To me, it reads more like a parody than a paranormal romance. I don’t care for the characters which is one of the things people like about it the most. I’m almost 100 pages in and I’m still not feeling it, so I’m gonna DNF this and try reading something else.

Not what I was expecting so far. It’s kind of silly..🤷🏻‍♀️ This may be a DNF, if my feelings don’t change soon.

Ughhhhh....this book is painful to get through, and I can’t really tell why. Saw someone else dnf’d this at 50%, so I am happy it’s not just me. I am still trying to oower through it. For what reason?? I have no idea.

Kind of disappointed with this right now. Story is weird and somewhat confusing to follow who is who and what is what. It’s getting a little boring and I am starting to dread picking it up. I will try some more tomorrow but this might become a big fat DNF.

Ummmmm more Hawke, please. Thank you. This is pretty good so far. Suprised not a lot of people are talking about it, however I am really enjoying going into this world blind, and I suggest you do the same.
