I am so in love with the Cormoran Strike series, and this fifth book is just getting better and better as I read on... A bit longer than the first four, but full of lots of details and clues to keep me interested and trying to figure out what will happen next...

Beginning Chapter 14 of the third book in the series, Red Hot Empress, and still loving everything about the way Meredith Blevins writes! Annie still finds mystery around every corner, and her crazy Gypsy mother-in-law, Mina, is still along for the ride. Each book in the series has a different set of supporting players, with Annie and Mina getting into trouble and slowly but surely solving each mystery.

Meredith Blevins just made my MostFavoriteAuthors list! What a talent! Just finished volume 1 and have begun volume 2. I'm in love with the way Blevins fills in each character and how she just makes everything fall into place along the way. Who knew I'd love a novel about gypsies? But, then, maybe it's because I'm just a gypsy at heart? Highly recommend the Annie Szabo Mystery Series!!!!

I'm almost done with the third in the series (after having read the fourth first), and Caroline Fardig is an excellent author... puts me in mind of Janet Evanovich and her (now 24 strong) series about all the troubles her bonds-woman Stephanie Plum can get herself mixed up in.... I think Ms. Fardig could easily get 20 more books out of Java Jive!! Now, I've got to check out her Lizzie Hart mysteries!

Great, quick, read. Perfect YA book and, I just discovered, the 4th in a series, so now I've bought the first three books.... and here I was, getting ready to let the author know that she should make this a series! HA! If you enjoy a good mystery without too much confusion, this is it. Good read. Now, on to investigate the first three books in the series!

CanNOT put this book down. I would classify this book as a "fireside" read. Something to read after you settle down in front of a fire, with a cup of tea and your favorite throw. I just need someone to come start a fire in my fireplace (and clean it afterward). That's not asking too much, is it? Reading this makes me really want to visit Britain!

I am 100% done with the book because I stopped reading it after reading ALL of the reviews (98% of which were really bad), and after wading through the first 10% and finding no reason to continue. Sorry.....

The beginning is sort of like a new TV show.... where you get a glimpse of the characters and settings of three or more occurrences, all happening at roughly the same time. Kind of confusing... much easier to retain all this information if you're "watching" a show rather than reading a book. We'll see how I do as the story progresses.

Read the series before, but with the first two movies out (and so many things that I didn't remember happening the same way), I thought I would re-read the books. Movie directors (and, I suppose, the folks who turn the book into a movie in the first place), sure leave a lot of things out, and change the way and places that events occurred. Not good. Certainly not anywhere near as good as Lord of the Rings was!

I have to say, this book is definitely opening my eyes about all the poaching and illegal trade that has been going on in the animal kingdom! Along with being a page-turning, exciting adventure, it has raised my awareness and desire to further investigate these events as they pertain to the present day, and to try to do something to save these beautiful animals from inhumane treatment and extinction.

and am just a bit concerned that there's only 13% left to read! I know there's no sequel (so far) and can only hope that Ms Meyer has an outline already started. Things began to calm down a bit, and then I swipe the screen for the next page and the entire world has been turned upside down! LOVE IT! Seriously, Ms Meyer, are you planning a sequel?

and can barely stand to put it down. Carrying my Kindle around with me all day is a bit difficult, but it's never far from my being able to pick it up. The excitement is building now, so I'm sure other things I need to do will fall by the wayside until I'm through! Ah, well. Anything for a good book, eh?

and loving every minute of it. Happy to see the amount of research Meyer has done on every aspect of the story. Have not run into any dull moment when things have to be "explained." Each enlightenment is critical to the story, and I'm hanging onto every word. Great read!
