Good so far. For some reason I think Julith is up to something. I'll find out soon enough.

Nasty liches and Purple Dragons being... Well, being themselves until the liches run through them! Ahh no matter, plenty more to be recruited. Those gold royals buy plenty of ale and hot meals.

This is great! It's like reading an Faerunian history lesson. I like knowing the backstory to the iconic characters of the Forgotten Realms, as well as the events that made it what it is today. Or actually.. What exactly is it like today? I think it depends on who is the Dungeon Master!

The Faerie realm sounds interesting. I wonder if other Forgotten Realms series books have more stories about Faerie? Maybe a few published campaign adventures? Sprites and Satyrs and Trolls oh *****!

I like the weather descriptions. Seafaring weather brings back real life memories for myself. The feel of saltwater drenching my clothes and the smell of sea air along with the rolling deck of the ship during a storm. It's comforting and makes one feel their strength. It's been many years ago.

It's awesome. June 1986! I was 3 years old when this was published and someone was kind and considerate enough to save a copy for me whenever I decided to nerd out in my mid thirties. How could I resist? An Eliminister AD&D adventure and the process for Dracolich creation! Woohoo! Iced coffee and ignore other stuff time!

More Sahuagin! My own campaign of Dungeons & Dragons has Sahuagin. It's nice to get all the backstory and involvement in the Forgotten Realms as possible. Mine are a little different though as far as mannerisms and relations to the other races. Have you ever tried tabletop campaigns with a trident? Just try it! Make your next attack and the Dungeon Master reminds you your weapon is 80 feet away stuck in a boar!

If I say anything it's sure to make a spoiler for someone. So all I can say is read this series... Or else... Or else you're going to cook some rice and forget to put it in the refrigerator for the next day. Then you will wake up and see the rice still in the cooker and wrap it up in some tin foil for lunch and probably dinner that day. At least that's what Kazgoroth kept doing to me until I remembered.

Good to get back to Mr. Greenwoods' adventures and writing style. I like old Dungeons and Dragons stories and Faerun is just the place for me! Good job!

This is great! Iakhovas is a total pecker to everyone and yet I still admire his antagonistic actions and lust for power. This series in its entirety has been an enjoyable read.

Several different authors give a nice boost to my vocabulary. Adjusting to different writing styles and methods of expressing thought in storytelling is good mental exercise! If you don't understand what I mean by that then read a short story by Aleister Crowley or Hp Lovecraft and then read a short story from a current magazine or newspaper. If that doesn't clear things up then try Edgar Allen Poe!

Kythorn? Mirtul? I have no idea what the date and time references mean. Its good though! Just means I have more to learn about Faerun and the Forgotten Realms. I know what a tenday means.

SPOILER! Iakhovas can be identified with. I wonder who the inspiration was for that particular character? Just show up, mess everything up, get everyone fighting and in a panic and then run off pursuing your own interests profiting and gaining in power and influence the entire time! How charismatic.. In an evil sort of way though.

This is good. Having to look up some of the monsters and races of Faerun online. Of course I don't have a monster manual containing all the creatures and races across all editions of Dungeons and Dragons. Someday maybe? It would give some people something to argue about I'm sure!

Its good. Learning more about Forgotten Realms settings for Dungeons and Dragons campaign. This is a good trilogy to learn about seafaring life in the realms.

So far so good! I like the illustration of the sahaguin. (Might have spelled that wrong?). I'm for the most part sure an imaginary monster won't take offense though. I like books containing seafaring lore. Like the cover art as well.
