another book I found scrolling through tiktok comments ☺️ really enjoying it so far. to go from borderline hating your late husband’s best friend to falling for him is insane. it’s messed up yes but the story is SO good and the chemistry is fire 🔥

the suspense is building. I really can’t tell if the husband had anything to do with the murder or nottttt 😰 but based on the prologue I’m gonna say yessss. even his manipulation is starting to convince me!

Samira id a goofy. although I understand it might be frustrating to get cut off financially by your family you can’t be mad at your brothers wife if she put that battery in his back. having a baby on the way is a pretty valid excuse and you have no room to be entitled to their money. her being less mad at her roommate for wanting her to move out but having all that energy for her brother is… something

omg Ace is everythingggggg. the way he is not intimidated by Hendrix AT ALL is so attractive. he knows what he wants and is patient about...how thoughtful he is... just ughhh, yes!

So far, I really like this book. I do feel like the beginning was a bit rushed but the dynamic between Harlow and Ace makes up for it. I love the friendship they are building along with the subtle flirting. the way they are just genuinely enjoying each other's company without crossing that line is perfect. oh, and it's only a matter of time before Hendrix pops up. I just know he is!

so far i’m loving how Love Notes is flowing into In Tandem. Mahogany Heights feels like a safe place to be, a home. really enjoying the sense of community. as far as Brit and Raf, another great display of true friendship.

ok Jules gave me a “doing too much” vibe a few times that I overlooked but now she’s gotta chill… even with the jokes, bc girl!

Troy is literally a MAN.

i love this bond that Jules and Troy are building. it’s leaving me very anxious and excited for the next step in their… friendship?

ok ch 2 was cute. learned a lot about Troy and his current mindset. i looove how real this story feels so far. the way the author set up the story to learn about each character is perfection 👌🏾
