The Lace weaver is a beautiful book and I can't wait for the next book by Lauren Chater to come out. It was so vivid it felt like you were there. I thank the author for bringing to life the atrocities that Estonia suffered in the 1940s. So much of our literature focuses on the Nazis and Hitler that we forget the crimes that the communists and Stalin perpetrated.
