Krystal Ramirez is starting Three Plays of Euripides: Alcestis/Medea/The Bacchae

Currently on Medea and this may be the most realistic version of a Dionysustic loss of self. To truly go mad. Reminds me of that line in the Secret History. “The more cultivated a person is, the more repressed”. Medea truly is the epitome of repression and loss of self due to being hurt.
