As a kid, my mom and I used to love watching the Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Paris movie with Angela Lansbury. For my birthday this year she sent me the book! I'm excited to read the original story :)

Melissa is 50% done with Unspun: A Collection of Tattered Fairy Tales

Nice collection of short stories. All the stories have had some interesting ideas but some I wish were a little more developed.

My favorite so far is Tatterhood and the Prince's Hand by Katherine Cowley. This selection is novella length and feels very polished. It starts out with a whimsical fairy tale and then shows us what happens after the fairytale wedding. I liked the humor and the growth of the relationship.
