Fun, but not quite up to her usual.

I discovered Jon Talton several years ago and really like his Mapstone series. I've been to Tucson, so I can visualize the settings, and I like that Mapstone is more brains than brawn while still a really strong character. His whole ensemble cast works. Keep 'em coming!

I put this aside to watch the TV series - don't want any spoilers or disappointments.

I really like the Harrison books. There is just enough continuity to be assured you'll will get a good story with a reasonable paranormal theme, yet they all can stand alone and be read in any order.
