A good beach read. 🏖️ I liked that there wasn't major fabricated drama just character trying to figure out how to balance their life and move forward even when "life" happens.

I really liked this. It was fun to hear about life in a different time. Lessons from the good and hard of life are relatable no matter when or where we live.

This was Interesting and well written. I liked the format- following two lines of the same family from Ghana Over 8 generations. Each chapter was about a different person but there were threads that tied each generation and some characters together. I found myself thinking of the characters throughout the week as I read.
