Unfortch, SJM books i've discover take about 200 pages to really get into which is probably more than the should. BUT we are finally getting into the juicy bits, namely elide and lorcan (HATE that name btw) and whatever aedion and his dad have going on. tbh my like for aelin fluctuates HEAVILY an rn i'm meh on her. i think SJM's side characters are way more interesdteing than her main protags

if celaena doesn't assassin in this book i will be so mad... never in my life have i read a book less about assassining
