Having watched the TV show first and enjoyed it means I have superimposed the actors over the book characters. Nick Offerman's Jinx is not the same as book Jinx but I cannot unhear his voice....

I really wish this series had ended with book 1. Even the (spoiler) crossover won't be enough IMO

Artwork is neat. Stories are lacking.

So far the Lynn Painter one has my vote. The Uno card game is so cute!

Feels like a deviation from her other books in that this is a full swing romance. And even romantic comedy territory. Which I guess aligns with the prologue

Wasn't sure I would enjoy this one as much as the first book in the series. Still on the fence, but not disappointed.
