Not impressed so far. Lots of incongruous narration, e.g. "goddess who never spoke" two chapters after she speaks to a character, or "he made his camp in the cave" then next paragraph he's enjoying sun on his back with no step in between, or repeatedly saying a donkey is dead before and after a time skip, presented as if new information the second time.
The gods speak jarringly, though I know that's the point.
