I'm at the Romance Writers of America conference in NYC this week. At breakfast, my table had fun talking about our "gateway drug" to romance.

For me, it was Becky Bloomwood and Luke Brandon in the Shopaholic series. I loved their opposites attract story and wanted to read more love stories.

What book got you hooked on romance? Did you sneak your mom's Harlequins? Was it Fifty Shades? Or a sweeping Regency?
