This is perhaps one of the most beautifully written pieces of literature I’ve ever read

Kaladin is a brat. That is all I have to say at this time. I can picture Syl’s disappointed look on her face, thinking about how many more times will she have to repeat “This will ruin you kaladin”

The writing is bad, it is poorly edited and the prose is at the same time pretentious and plain... that in itself is an achievement

“Despite advances in healthcare technologies, therapeutics, and international surveillance efforts, a catastrophic outbreak of pandemic proportions remains a faint, but distinct possibility”

A few months later, this seems both a bit prophetic and naive

The whining about not being able to trust anyone and the angst over Cal’s posible upcoming betrayal is getting old fast...
