I think I have a thing for dark fantasy. Not the romantic mafia kind but the kind that makes you feel like something is crawling under your skin.

Katrina is a precious lil baby who does not deserve all the shit she has been through.

The whole premise of this book is fascinating and the writing is thoughtful and lovely. My heart goes out to Katrina. She’s incredibly resourceful even in the toughest of times.

The translation for this book is very spotty this time around. It feels as if this book is being literally translated without any regard for quality of text.

Starting off pretty slow this time around, vaguely worried that the author is forcing this series to continue.

Honestly it’s pretty awful. The writing is very amateur and kind of cringey. I really really wanted to like this but it’s just not for me.

Okay so everything is really cringy so far ngl. I hope it’ll get better. The part where she asks him where he’s going is making me want to scream. Sis are you his mom??? Regardless, I’m determined to finish this book bc I promised
