Finally finished! This was my occasional/waiting room read so took me much longer. This was a sweet little gift for mother's day 2018/2019 from one of my older kids. ❤

Emmie said it was good. Jack loved the animals and they really love being read to at the doctor.

It was a wonderful story with equally delightful illustrations. Emmie and Jack loved having this read to them today while we were at the doctor's office.

Wish I had more time to read.

Borrowed this from the Little Lending Library at Patriot Park in Homewood, Alabama. I was so excited to read this I started immediately and if not for time constraints (and despite my tendency to be a slow reader) I will have this book read in no time. It caught my interest on the first page.

Almost done! Haven't felt very journaly lately. But now I am. Just so sick of no lines! My daily diary must have them so I can concentrate more on what I'm trying to put down in ink.

I love that the journal I've been using is actually listed on here. I'm almost done with it now but it's really cool. Not so cool for writing in because of how bulky the covers are on the book itself but it's a neat concept. For the record, it's made of thick rubber to achieve the 3D look...

Loving it so far! Been reading it to Emmie only because Jack is engrossed in garbage truck videos on YouTube at the moment.

The kids and I are loving it. We took a pause break to play with dinosaur toys and will pick up later to finish the rest. :)

It's going well. I'm a slow reader and the kids were not wanting to sleep so I've been just reading when I can. The advice is sound but some of it is kinda humorous like when she suggested to substitute margarine for butter. Nobody's gonna be doing that...

So far so good. The author has a charming writing style and is confident in imparting knowledge so I hope it stays that way. I did notice that the info seems to be coming from a sort of sheltered upbringing viewpoint but I'm trying to get around that because it's not a constant occurrence.

Unfortunately this book is wearing thin on me and unlike the books in the Fear Street series and other similar ones, the writing style is so juvenile and unwieldy that it makes it genuinely difficult to read. I plan on finishing because I'm stubborn.
