31 pages in and I’ve highlight 15 lines already. Dear lord this writing is impeccable. Ugh I love it. Also coming across the page that I was reading as I was waiting outside a coffee shop, before a first date with my now husband—a page I read 3-4 times because I was so nervous I couldn’t focus 😅💜

I’m loving this book. One minute it’s making me laugh, the next my blood is boiling because my god this town is full of unlikable people. The character growth of a lot of these people is interesting to see too!

Alright, loving the blade runner vibes

Man is it refreshing to read a book about a super conservative, narrow-minded town, start to change their views because of progressive books. It’s insane because this book is supposed to be exaggerated and almost satire on the ultra-conservative, but it’s way too close to reality today.

I have 100 pages left but I feel like I’m nearing the conclusions so idk what’s going to happen in the next 100 pages. Also, this book feels like it was written by Freida McFadden… not the best writing, but enough of a mystery to keep me curious.
