Once more, tales of the scavengers daughter's. A page-turner, and so many emotions go along with this story. I only gave it 4 stars this time as somehow the story feels unresolved....it just ends...It didn't tie up the loose ends. Many unanswered parts....I still loved the storyline though.

Nice book, easy read, just not too terribly exciting. mundane in some places. average read, but interesting.

I have read so many diet books. This in comparison was well written, easy to understand, and probably a good way to go. But I have always said not every diet is for every person. You need to find one that is right for you. If it has food on it that you don't like I would not recommend trying that one. This seemed average in the way, that you could probably stay on the food program.

Very good book, Poor Debbie, the things she had to go through. I don't know how many others could of done what she has done to overcome. Enjoyable read.

I am really loving this book

Not as good as her other books, but still very interesting and i did like it. Being from the Bay Area, I was very familiar with the locations in the book, which made it extra fun to read. Time period just before and during World War II. 3 women (2 Chinese 1 Japanese) showgirls, and came from very different backgrounds. Many human emotions displayed, during a stressful economic time

Loved this story and this Author. The characters are real, and the story captures your heart. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
